Le Jazz Est Mort brings the return of seminal French jazz-funk group Cortex to North America. Headed by composer and vocalist Alain Mion, the group rose to prominence with their celebrated 1975 LP Troupeau Bleu, whose recordings have been extensively sampled across contemporary hip-hop. Touring with their full live band, the performance spans the ensemble's decades-long catalog alongside special guest multi-instrumentalist and producer Adrian Younge.
