Stu Larsen: The Solitude Tour

In a relentless and restless world, Stu Larsen went looking for silence and stillness in some of the most remote corners of the globe. Solitude isn’t about escaping life; it’s about slowing down enough to notice it. Writing 12 songs over 12 months while hiding away in 12 different locations around the world with nothing but a guitar, a few cameras, and some simple recording equipment, Solitude is Larsen’s year-long journey to parts unknown. Over the course of this project, Larsen re-discovered that something magical happens when you completely disconnect from the world and intentionally spend time alone, allowing thoughts and emotions to flow without the constant distractions of a life lived in this modern, connected age.
