Returning from a tour of the Baltic States, guests from Poland - the Subcarpathian Arturo Malawski Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra based in Rzeszów - will visit the Kaunas Philharmonic. Founded in 1955, the orchestra is one of the best in Poland and performs worldwide in prestigious concert halls such as the Vienna Musikverein. Performing alongside the ensemble at the Kaunas Philharmonic will be acclaimed Latvian pianist and composer Vestards Šimkus, with an additional soloist to be announced following the 17th Henryk Wieniawski Violin Competition in Poznań.
The event takes place on March 5, 2027, at Kaunas State Philharmonic Society located at E. Ožeškienės g. 12, Kaunas.
The Subcarpathian Arturo Malawski Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra performs alongside pianist and composer Vestards Šimkus and conductor Norbert Tworczynski.
