An underground, nostalgic chamber music night.
Founded by Nicholas Daniel and members of the Britten Sinfonia, the Britten Oboe Quartet is celebrated for its inventive programming and empathetic music-making. This lunchtime performance features a London premiere by Huw Watkins alongside Britten's early Phantasy and Mozart's refined Oboe Quartet K370. The program also includes Jacqueline Shave's evocative arrangements of traditional melodies.
