Sendebibu: Forsa Ansestral

Forsa Ansestral is the Rotterdam stop of Sendebibu on Tour, an evening centred around Afro-Curaçaoan cultural heritage, ancestral knowledge, and collective learning. The evening starts with a community programme focused on connecting and learning around culture, featuring a libation, conversation, food, the screening of Forsa Ansestral, a post-screening conversation, and tambú. Sendebibu is a multigenerational platform for Caribbean diasporic communities reconnecting with ancestral practices, particularly tambú. After the community programme, the celebration continues with a tambú performance and a night of Caribbean and diasporic sounds, music, and movement.
