Een underground indie-folkavond.
Hudson Freeman performs live at Les Étoiles playing introspective lo-fi folk and bedroom pop songs from his latest album. Tickets on Mood.
Hudson Freeman is a lo-fi folk artist rooted in the DIY ethos of the American Midwest. Born in Texas to a family of evangelical missionaries, he began writing songs at thirteen before moving to Eswatini. Deeply influenced by indie figures like Sufjan Stevens and Bon Iver, his music explores faith, belonging, and anxiety through introspective modern folk. His 2025 album Is A Folk Artist established his voice as a digital-era songwriter, followed by the breakout success of the single If You Know Me, which blends bedroom pop, folk, slowcore, and post-emo elements.
