A nostalgic chamber music night.
Six festival days begin with a light breakfast of fresh juice, a warm croissant, and a cappuccino, followed by one of Johann Sebastian Bach's six cello suites. In this edition, celebrating the Cello Biennale Amsterdam, performers have been asked to expand the repertoire by adding a short solo work reflecting the theme 'Shifting Borders'. On this morning, cellist Marie-Elisabeth Hecker performs Bach's Suite No. 2 in D minor alongside another solo piece. The breakfast buffet opens at 8:45 AM and is included in the ticket price.
