The Tallis Scholars and conductor Peter Phillips present a program where Renaissance and contemporary stillness meet. Works by Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina are placed alongside pieces by Arvo Pärt, creating a dialogue between two spiritual sound worlds. Palestrina's clear polyphony and Pärt's sober, meditative style share a focus on balance, space, and concentration. This combination results in a timeless listening experience where old and new sacred music reinforce each other.
