Deathcore-events in Amsterdam

Deathcore is an extreme metal subgenre that emerged in the early 21st century, primarily as a stylistic fusion of death metal's technicality and metalcore's rhythmic breakdowns. The instrumentation features heavily down-tuned electric guitars, rapid-fire blast beat drumming, and a vocal palette ranging from piercing screams to deep guttural growls. Rhythmically, the genre is defined by a sharp contrast between high-speed technical passages and slow, punishing breakdowns designed to maximize physical impact while maintaining a semantic bridge between hardcore punk and extreme metal. This sonic fusion creates a high-energy, dissonant soundscape known for its profound brutality, technical precision, and intensely aggressive mood.
