Christian Folk-concerten en liveshows in Barcelona

Emerging in the mid-20th century, particularly during the Jesus Movement of the 1960s and 1970s, Christian folk fuses traditional folk music structures with lyrical content centered on Christian faith and spirituality. It typically features acoustic instrumentation such as guitars, banjos, violins, and upright basses, emphasizing an organic and stripped-back sound that prioritizes lyrical clarity. Rhythms are generally simple and steady, often utilizing 4/4 or 3/4 time signatures at moderate tempos to facilitate communal singing and personal reflection. The mood ranges from somber and introspective to communal and celebratory, serving as a crucial spiritual bridge between secular folk revivalism and the broader contemporary Christian music movement.
