Future House-events in Berlin

Future House is a subgenre of electronic dance music that emerged in the early 2010s, primarily pioneered by producers such as Tchami and Oliver Heldens. It is defined by its fusion of deep house's melodic sensibilities with the high-octane production techniques of big room house, often featuring distinctive metallic, elastic synth basslines and punchy four-on-the-floor rhythms. Typically operating between 120 and 128 BPM, the genre creates a polished, futuristic atmosphere that bridges the gap between underground club textures and mainstream festival anthems. Semantically, it maintains a close relationship with UK Garage and tech house, utilizing syncopated grooves to drive energetic physical movement across contemporary dancefloor settings.
