Speed House-events in Berlin

Speed House is a high-octane electronic dance music subgenre that emerged in the late 2010s as a fast-paced evolution of bass house and future house. Characterized by its relentless 140 to 160 BPM tempo, the genre utilizes aggressive 4/4 kick patterns, metallic bass wobbles, and frenetic vocal chops to create a frantic, rave-ready atmosphere. It bridges the gap between traditional house music and harder styles like UK hardcore, often featuring high-tension build-ups and explosive, rhythmic drops. This genre prioritizes intense energy and physical movement, making it a staple in modern bass-heavy festival circuits and underground warehouse parties where high-velocity soundscapes are favored.
