Electroacoustic-events in Kavala

Electroacoustic music is a genre that emerged in the mid-20th century, characterized by the integration of electronic sound production and manipulation with acoustic sound sources, including instruments, voices, and environmental recordings. It often employs techniques like tape manipulation, synthesis, and digital processing to create complex sonic textures and abstract soundscapes. Rhythms are frequently non-metric or highly experimental, focusing on timbre and spatialization rather than conventional melodic or harmonic structures. This avant-garde genre explores a wide emotional spectrum, from contemplative to unsettling, and is closely related to musique concrète and experimental electronic music.
