Folk Rock-concerten en liveshows in Komotini

Folk rock emerged in the mid-1960s as a hybrid genre that fused the lyrical depth and acoustic sensibilities of the folk revival with the amplified instrumentation and rhythmic drive of rock and roll. Characterized by the prominent use of acoustic and twelve-string electric guitars, the genre often features rich vocal harmonies and a steady, mid-tempo backbeat. It bridges the gap between traditional storytelling and modern pop structures, frequently exploring themes of social justice, introspection, and pastoral imagery. By incorporating the energy of the British Invasion into the earnestness of the American folk scene, folk rock pioneered a sound that remains foundational to the development of alternative and indie music styles.
