Comedy Rock-concerten en liveshows in London

Comedy rock is a hybrid genre that emerged in the mid-20th century, blending traditional rock music elements with satirical, humorous, or parodic lyrical content. Utilizing standard rock instrumentation such as electric guitars, bass, and drums, artists often employ sophisticated musicianship to mimic or subvert established rock tropes and sub-genres. The tempo and rhythmic structures are highly variable, as the music serves the comedic timing and narrative delivery, ranging from high-energy punk-inspired tracks to slower, theatrical ballads. Functionally positioned between mainstream rock and novelty music, the genre relies on irony and absurdity to provide social commentary or lighthearted entertainment, maintaining a close semantic relationship with musical comedy and satirical pop.
