Neo Rockabilly-concerten en liveshows in London

Neo-rockabilly emerged in the late 1970s as a high-octane revival of the 1950s rockabilly sound, infused with the raw aggression and speed of contemporary punk rock. The genre is characterized by its reliance on traditional instrumentation like the upright slap bass and hollow-body electric guitars, often processed through distinctive slap-back delay effects to create a percussive, driving rhythm. Semantically, it bridges the gap between classic rock and roll and the more extreme psychobilly movement, maintaining a nostalgic aesthetic while pushing for faster tempos and modern production values. The resulting mood is consistently energetic and rebellious, blending vintage mid-century swagger with a modern, DIY attitude.
