Uk R&B-events deze maand in London

UK R&B is a subgenre of contemporary R&B originating from the United Kingdom, characterized by its fusion of American R&B sensibilities with distinct British urban music elements like UK garage, grime, and sometimes pop. It typically features smooth, soulful vocals, often with a more understated or melancholic tone compared to its American counterpart, underpinned by electronic production, synthesizers, and programmed beats, occasionally incorporating live instrumentation. Rhythms are generally mid-tempo to upbeat, designed for both listening and dancing, creating a mood that can range from introspective and sensual to subtly energetic. The genre emerged prominently in the late 1990s and early 2000s, carving out a unique identity within the global R&B landscape.
