Dance Rock-events deze maand in Los Angeles

Dance rock is a fusion genre that emerged in the late 1970s, bridging the gap between post-punk, new wave, and the infectious grooves of disco and funk. Typically featuring a mix of electric guitars and synthesizers, the instrumentation is driven by steady, four-on-the-floor drum patterns and syncopated basslines that emphasize rhythmic consistency. The genre’s mood is characterized by high energy and sleek production, often serving as a bridge between the raw intensity of rock and the mechanical precision of electronic dance music. Historically associated with acts like Blondie and New Order, it maintains a strong presence in both indie and mainstream pop spheres by prioritizing kinetic, movement-oriented arrangements.
