Folclor Andino-events deze week in Madrid

Folclor andino is a rich traditional musical style originating from the high-altitude Andean region spanning countries like Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, and Chile. Characterized by the prominent use of native acoustic instruments such as the pan flute, charango, and acoustic guitar, it blends indigenous pre-Columbian rhythms with Spanish colonial influences. The tempos vary from steady, melancholic strolls to vibrant, energetic dance beats evoking mountain landscapes and ancient rituals. This foundational genre shares deep historical roots with Andean folk and traditional Latin American roots music.
