Piano Rock-concerten en liveshows in Madrid

Piano rock is a subgenre of rock music that centers the piano or keyboard as the lead melodic and harmonic instrument rather than the electric guitar. Emerging from the foundational rhythm and blues and rock and roll of the 1950s, the genre gained immense popularity in the 1970s through the work of virtuosic singer-songwriters who blended classical motifs with pop sensibilities. Typical instrumentation includes acoustic or electric pianos, drums, and bass, often characterized by driving 4/4 rhythms or intricate, melodic ballads. The mood is frequently grand and theatrical yet emotionally resonant, serving as a melodic bridge between the aggression of traditional rock and the accessibility of mainstream pop music.
