French R&B-events deze maand in Parijs

French R&B emerged in France during the 1990s and 2000s, drawing heavily from American contemporary R&B while incorporating elements of French pop, hip-hop, and occasionally Zouk or Raï. Characterized by smooth, often melancholic or romantic vocals, it typically features electronic instrumentation, including synthesizers, drum machines, and basslines, creating a polished, mid-tempo groove. The genre often explores themes of love, relationships, and urban life, maintaining a distinct Gallic sensibility in its lyrical content and vocal delivery, differentiating it from its American counterpart.
