Just you, me, and the anti-life equation!A gritty and immensely cheesy 80s sci-fi vehicle starring Jesse Ventura and Sven Ole-Thorsen as comrades of the same race set-up in a somewhat grueling game of cat and mouse. Between the trendy conditions of the decade and the subpar acting, you’ll find a fringe Christmas story that utilizes a virginal birth of a child prodigy which is somewhat interesting. Ventura is sent to Earth to stop Ole-Thorsen on his rampage, and he eventually gets tied to the mother (Marjorie Bransfield) and child prodigy as their protector. Really all Abraxas, Guardian of the Universe proves is two things:1) I need to watch The Principal ASAP.2) The hypothesis that The Prime Movers’ Strong As I Am is one of the very best adrenaline inducing songs to put to people lighting shit on fire or tearing up their vehicle’s dashboard. Ya dig my sick Manhunter reference?
