No knockout. No triumph.Just another movie about a washed-up fighter who needs one last fight to make everything right again.I knew exactly where this was going every step of the way.And somehow, it still worked.
Het verhaal volgt een commerciële visser, terwijl hij worstelt om voor zijn gezin te zorgen en de dood van zijn broer te wreken door te vechten in een mixed martial-arts-wedstrijd tegen een gevaarlijke tegenstander.

I wasn’t expecting an Aussie fight film to go this hard. I would love Russell Crowe yelling at me to breathe as part of therapy.
I was in a small town with nothing to do, so killed an evening by going to the nearest AMC. I was enticed by this because I liked the idea of a B-movie set in the world of MMA that featured Russell Crowe as the crusty old trainer. Boy, it sure hit the spot. If you're in the mood for a meat-n-potatoes Rocky clone, you could do a lot worse than this. Sometimes it's great to see a Normal Movie.
