It looks like more than one actress played Drummond’s fiancé over the series, but Heather Angel’s my favorite. Her game spirit is just right for this series finale when she finally gets him to the alter (well, in front of a magistrate). The shenanigans are extra loony in this outing, and the stakes aren’t high enough to be much bothered about (bank robbery, pedestrian for the series that introduced that powerful explosive Haxtonite, and the evil Death Ray!).
I love that Reginald Denny was able act silly for a good laugh. His fall down the stairs is priceless! 😂😂😂
I needed a good laugh, thank you Reg! 😂

James P. Hogan regisseerde deze misdaadkomedie uit 1939, tevens het laatste deel in de B-filmreeks van Paramount Pictures.
