Let's accept the many-world interpretation of quantum mechanics by the great Hugh Everett III. For the record: I don't, but let's pretend. Let's accept there are infinite universes with infinity Yves-es out there. Let's hypothesize that it would be possible to cross from one universe to another. So, I can meet another version of myself. For the record: I don't believe that is possible. Would that version of me be as nice as I am? I very much doubt it. Marie (Jessica Rothe) in this movie comes to the conclusion that all infinite versions of her are the same. I think she is wrong. You see Marie, there are so many coin flips in our lives that makes who we are. The coin flips are the reason there are many worlds in the first place. If we end up the same in each world, wouldn't that mean that the worlds would be the same? Wait! Did Marie just disprove the great Hugh Everett III? Now, if I would meet another Yves surely I would try to empathize with that person, even if he is a little bit less likeable than me. If you can't have empathy for yourself, who can you have empathy for? What does this Marie do? She yells at her/them, stabs her/them, throws her/them down the stairs. She sets traps for them. Crazy bitch. Imposters is a movie for fans of the theories of Hugh Everett III. Not for me.

"What would you do if Theo dies in this room right now?"Good that we spontaneously decided to watch "Imposters".The concept of that is really cool even though it's revealed very late into the movie. Some sort of Capture the flag but instead of a flag it's the baby. Some backrooms elements thrown in there and you have a very good movie with enough drama and twists to make it even more interesting.Even greater is the conclusion because of that great writing that gives enough space for the viewer to think about it and combining the puzzle of details.The actors are okay. They have some work to do with their emotions but it was okay for this movie.Editing and cinematography was good. A great camera team makes this movie what it is. Camera shots that are catching the atmosphere perfectly.Second longest movie of the Fantasy Filmfest Nights with a runtime of 107 minutes gives the story enough time to evolve and hit good enough at the end.The score could have been more epic in my opinion. What "The Vile" had with it's score should "Imposters" have too. Would have given the good filmed scenes even more meaning.A great choice of us to watch this.Next up and the last movie for this great weekend "Mum, I'm alien pregnant". I don't really know what to expect but one thing is sure. It will be a crazy crazy time.
