I mean, what else do you need me to say? Its fecken Queen. Freddie Mercury is outstanding; the man’s towering presence is absorbing, mesmerizing and inspiring. The music is, obviously, incredible and the live arrangements are all incredible. I loved the covers they made for things like Little Richards and whatnot.I have minor issues. Some of the most popular songs seemed to last very little. I'm not sure if the off-stage stuff with them walking around the country and stuff made even some of the members look very awkward. And maybe I missed something, but the performance for Rhapsody was confusing. Like you have Mercury kicking off playing the piano. Then it cuts and nowhere is on the stage and we cut from the empty stage to some juxtaposed images of the crowd waving some candles or to some of the color lights. It was bizarre and anticlimactic. And because of a lot of this, some of the second half sets feel like a lot of the energy wasn’t as peak as in the first half.All in all, even with its minor flaws and all, this was still an incredible concert film that makes it clear why the band and its frontman all became icons.TODAY SCHEDULEMoonwalkerCaptain EOThe Eras Tour (Taylor's Version)Queen: Live in Budapest

Depois de assistir o Wembley, ver esse show foi tipo tomar um copo de água gelada no deserto. A diferença na qualidade da imagem é absurda. É isso que dá filmar em filme e não em fita de vídeo, né. Pena que só dois shows do Queen com o Freddie foram registrados assim. Não chega na nitidez do Rock Montreal (porque não teve aquela remasterizada linda pro streaming), mas ainda assim a qualidade tá excelente. E com uma vantagem: a tela é cheia! Nada de imagem quadrada com proporção IMAX, que só ocupa um pedaço da tela.E nossa, a direção cinematográfica faz toda a diferença. Desde o começo dá pra ver que esse show foi feito pra cinema e não pra TV. Os planos são longos, os cortes são suaves… coisa linda. Nada daquele caos de edição do Wembley, que trocava de câmera a cada 4 segundos. E finalmente os outros membros da banda aparecem. O Roger Taylor respirou no meu PC depois de passar escondido no Wembley.Falando nele, o Roger aqui tá com uma presença mais marcante. A voz dele tá rasgada, potente, parece até mais descansada que nos outros shows. Não teve I'm in Love With My Car, infelizmente, mas nos backing vocals ele destrói. Em algumas músicas, como Hammer to Fall, a câmera foca mais nele e dá pra ver que aquele Roger bufando e cuspindo do Montreal ainda tá ali. Faltou só um momento solo pra brilhar mais, mas comparado ao Wembley, ele ganhou bem mais espaço (menos o pandeiro que dessa vez nem tava ligado no som coitado).O Deacon continua discreto, mas pelo menos teve um pedacinho do documentário só pra ele. E o Freddie? Continua no jeitão dele — animado, interativo, dançando, conduzindo o palco com naturalidade. Ainda incrível.Gostei muito também dos trechos da viagem da banda pra Budapeste. Foi muito massa ver o Queen explorando a cidade, meio documentário, meio show. E gravaram esses trechos com 35mm também (aí você pensa: por que não fizeram isso em todos os shows??). Mesmo com esse "bônus", o show ainda tem só 1h30 de duração, e eu fiquei meio confuso, já que a setlist é parecida com os outros. Percebi umas diferenças, como em Crazy Little Thing Called Love, onde o Freddie spawna no meio do palco com a guitarra — antes tinha toda uma preparação.Um detalhe legal que vale pra esse show e pros outros: o figurino da banda muda ao longo da apresentação. O Freddie troca de casaco, tira a camisa… e até os outros membros trocam de roupa discretamente. Mesmo sendo os mesmos looks dos outros shows, é um toque maneiro que mostra como eles pensavam o show como espetáculo mesmo.

I think out of all the concerts that was released on Home Video, this has to be one of my favorite Queen performances. It still kind of disappointing some of the footage was not shown *mainly the second verse of Crazy Little Thing called Love*, but it didn't bother me that much. The quality of the footage is amazing for something that's been recorded around 1986. The cut scenes between some songs were pretty funny and nice to watch. I suggest you give this a watch and just memorize the amazing music genre that I consider lost in this generation.
