It's not easy to review this movie in these politically correct times. It's heart was in the right place when it was made, but people still take offense. Some people are offended by anything regarding certain groups. Should there never be any stories told from their points of view?I think it paints the intellectually disabled as human and relatable, not as saints, but just like everyone else, with all their human foilbes and strengths. I'm sure that's what everyone would want. Maybe in some eyes it went too far, but I found it well done, in my opinion. If anything, it should be uptight Republican parental types who should be upset about their portrayal in this movie! The mother took a long time to adjust her ways regarding her children.
Mad at Jacques for making me watch this
