“He slipped! He Freudian slipped!”
I'm going to be very generous when I say that probably half of the movie ended up on the floor of the cutting room, and that's why the movie feels half-baked. a very surface level depiction of feminism that adds absolutely nothing new to our modern and historical understanding of feminism or women's struggles. maybe I'm being too critical and the world needs these kinds of "but what if woman likes science?" b-movies to keep things balanced, but it's just utterly forgettable. it will make a neat addition to the women-passionately-telling-men-off feminist tiktok compilations though!
