Marie Dea was a French actress with a career spanning over four decades from the late 1930s to the 1980s. She gained international recognition for her memorable performances in classic fantasy and drama films, most notably as Eurydice in Jean Cocteau's Orpheus (1950) and in Marcel Carné's The Devil's Envoys (1942).
