Milo Donal O'Shea was an Irish actor. He received nomination for the BAFTA Award for Most Promising Newcomer for his breakthrough role in Ulysses (1967), and was twice nominated for the Tony Award for Best Lead Actor in a Play for his performances in Broadway productions of Staircase (1968) and Mass Appeal (1982).
Milo O'Shea (1926–2013) was a prolific Irish character actor who gained international recognition for his extensive work on both stage and screen.
He is best known for his performances as Friar Laurence in the 1968 Romeo and Juliet, the antagonist Durand-Durand in Barbarella, and Judge Hoyle in The Verdict.
