William Redfield (1927–1976) was an American character actor, author, and founding member of the Actors Studio known for his versatile work across film, television, and Broadway.
He is widely recognized for his performance as Dale Harding in the film One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975) and his appearances in Fantastic Voyage (1966) and Death Wish (1974).
William Redfield was a founding member of the Actors Studio, a non-profit membership organization for professional actors, directors, and playwrights in New York City.
