Geoff Pearlman

Geoff Pearlman plays guitar in Echo in the Canyon, a celebration of the music of Laurel Canyon from 1965-1967, produced and directed by Andrew Slater. Released in May 2019, the film features an impressive cast of legendary performers like Eric Clapton, Ringo Starr, Tom Petty, Steven Stills, Graham Nash, David Crosby, Roger McGuinn, Brain Wilson, Norah Jones, Neil Young, Beck, Fiona Apple, Cat Power, Regina Spektor and many more performing songs by the Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, the Mommas and Poppas and recalling the magic of the time. As part of the Echo in the Canyon band, Geoff is featured both in the film and on it’s accompanying soundtrack playing 12-string, 6-string electric guitar, acoustic guitar and lap steel. Originally from Omaha, NE, Geoff started his musical journey with guitar lessons at age 9 (a side effect of his first concert experience, Kiss). Later, Geoff attended Berklee College of Music in Boston. Then, after a few years on the San Francisco music scene, Geoff found his way to his current home of Los Angeles. Over the years Geoff has performed with a wide range of artists including Shelby Lynne, Jakob Dylan, Linda Perry, Creed Bratton, Jill Sobule, The Tokens, Lucy Woodward and Storm Large among many others. As an independent artist and songwriter, Geoff has released a full length CD "Anything at All” (2002), an EP entitled "Someplace Like Nowhere”(2005) and will release his latest, “Lost in the Satellites”, in 2019. www.geoffpearlmanmusic.com
