Sydney Blu has built one of the most respected careers in electronic music. A globally touring DJ, producer, and founder of the acclaimed imprint Blu Music and nonprofit initiative Change the Beat, she is widely recognized as one of the pioneering women in underground electronic music. Her breakout hit “Give It Up For Me” became the first track by a solo female producer to reach the Top 10 on Beatport’s Overall Chart, later hitting #1 and remaining there for over three months. Over a decade later, the track returned to #1 again with a fresh techno remix. With releases on top labels like Drumcode, Mau5trap, Armada, Knee Deep in Sound, and HE.SHE.THEY, Sydney has headlined festivals from Ultra to BPM and played iconic venues like Space Ibiza, Stereo Montreal, and Sisyphos Berlin. She also spearheaded the creation of the JUNO Award category for Underground Dance Single of the Year, cementing her legacy as both an artist and industry changemaker.
