Adeyinka Francis Awolola known as VERBB is a Nigerian record producer, singer, and sound engineer who hails from Oyo state and is from a family of four kids. He was born in Lagos Nigeria. VERBB's music talks more in terms of reality and the future in order to motivate and inspire. He is a song composer that pushes himself to the limit in order to create many different types of music genres, but specifically centered on an alternative sound of Afrobeat he calls "Afro-Velvety" which is more of a mixture of african influenced sounds with distinctive contemporary elements embellished gracefully with his native synergies which comprises of his mother tongue Yoruba and the Nigerian pidgin. He aims for his music to be emotionally intimate, bridging the gap between himself, the music and it’s listeners, sharing a true connection. He creates music that soothes and tells stories that link people to nature and the way the world actually is. VERBB has been an uprising integral part of the music industry as he has engineered and produced for the likes of Mayorkun, Jamopyper, Mohbad, Peruzzi , Zlatan Ibile , Sexy Steel , Chinko Ekun , amongst other notable arts. In addition to identifying a young man who isn't afraid to show his deepest vices and innermost emotions, VERBB's rich music also offers a fascinating glimpse into the thrilling and colossal future of African music.
