Cedric Sheva

Cédric Sheva is a dynamic 27 year old French producer from Brest, who’s music was first heard and played out by Pional and Fort Romeau. Cédric's father was the resident DJ at the l'Aquarelle nightclub near Brest in the late 80's and early 90's and consequently, Cédric was exposed to dance music and club culture since he was a small boy. His father taught Cédric to have a diverse musical interests and to have fun behind the decks, no matter what the occasion, whether it be a club show, wedding booking or parade. His early inspirations come from Eric Prydz and his aliases Pryda and Cirez D, Laurent Garnier and of course, Daft Punk. Today he takes motivation from the great Masters at Work, Joey Negro and the raw and hypnotic sounds of Oscar Mulero or DVS1. Cédric's DJ career kicked off at an early age playing for friends parties at 14 years old and when he was 17 he came 4th in the French Junior DJ Championship. He recently won the Brest and Astropolis Festival DJ competitions. Cédric has signed a 3-year term with Labyrinth Records and will be working with the label to develop his sound, following and position in the electronic dance scene through a number of EP’s and an album in due course.
