Parafernelia

2006. Four friends in a basement struggle to make music. The chances of creating something with a beginning, middle and end are slim... The neighbours complain. The instruments protest too... Their parents, supportive, ask if a CD is playing from the sound system... this gives them courage. The rest is history. Parafernelia started their live shows and started making their own music! They performed some live shows in various cities of Greece but mainly in Thessaloniki, which is their hometown! With the highlight of their appearance at Schoolwave in 2009 and live with legends of the metal scene such as Tankard, Warrior soul and Riot, they continue their course and in 2011 they release their first EP "Jesus Rides a Harley", a mixture of Hard Rock n Roll and Heavy Metal. In 2017 they release their second and final EP called "Welcome to the Lizard City" more mature now and influenced by the Stoner current that is flooding the country's stages! They perform some more live shows with big names of the Greek stoner scene, such as Planet of Zeus, Nightstalker and Lord 13. In 2019, after various changes in their composition but always with friendship and love for music at their core, they break up due to force majeure.
