GENERATION HEAD UP have actually always been around. Always keeping their heads up, handmade progressive rock music is already in the DNA of some band members, others learnt to tap rhythmically with building blocks in kindergarten, while still others were inspired by the Neanderthals of rock to create modern art. Three of the five boys who have been playing together since their school days are still with the band. Stop, four more recently; back on guitar is Michael Bernau-Blümcke. After an intensive reorganisation phase in 2013, the band re-formed in 2014 under the name Generation Head Up. Now on the microphone and a pinch of guitar: Marc Lange. After the short release of three songs in 2017 on vinyl and digital only, the first full album ‘A Place Inside’ is now available on CD.
