frgmchine is the artist project of Berlin-based DJ and producer Ege Gecyatan, a name born from the idea of fragments of memories woven together into musical journeys. With over two decades behind the decks, frgmchine has built an organic following through years of regular sunset sessions at Mauerpark, one of Berlin's most beloved open air gathering spots. These performances capture the moment a day transitions into night, when the energy of a crowd shifts from restless to transcendent. Drawing influence from artists like Stephan Bodzin and Adriatique, frgmchine's sound sits in the space between melodic techno and progressive house: Atmospheric, hypnotic, and built for both emotional listening and the dance floor. Refract, the debut single released in 2026 on Mauerpark Records, captures the moment light breaks apart at dusk, a sonic translation of those Mauerpark sunsets that inspired the project from the beginning.
