Ogoya Nengo

Ogoya Nengo is a legendary Kenyan folk artist and the last living icon of the traditional Dodo singing style from the Nilotic Luo community. Known for her powerful, passionate voice backed by traditional drums and percussions, she serves as a social messenger and commentator, often performing with the Dodo Women's Group. Her timeless music, deeply rooted in Kenyan culture, sometimes incorporates contemporary electronic elements through collaborations.
