Pablo Martín Trio
An underground jazz artist.
Formed in Barcelona in 2019, Pablo Martín, Héctor Tejedo, and Kike Pérez came together to explore the sound possibilities of the trio format through original compositions and arrangements influenced by Hard bop and Contemporary jazz. Since the beginning of their activity, they have performed over fifty concerts nationally and internationally. Highlights include venues such as Jamboree (Barcelona), Clamores (Madrid), Nova Jazz Cava (Terrassa), Clasijazz (Almería), Clarence Jazz Club (Málaga), as well as festivals like “Mas i Mas”, “L’Hora del Jazz”, “Jazz al Relente” (Gibraltar), and “Jazz en la Frontera” (Jerez), among others. Internationally, the trio has performed in France and Italy. The project won the first edition of the Premi Talent, promoted by Acción Cultural Española (AC/E) and the Taller de Músics, and was a finalist at the Fara Jazz Live Award (Italy), among other recognitions. Their discography includes State of the Trio: Live at Nova Jazz Cava (2020), Forward (UnderPool, 2023), and The Standard Us (Fresh Sound New Talent, 2026).
