Mádé Kuti
Mádé Kuti is a Nigerian multi-instrumentalist, composer/arranger, and Afrobeat performer. Born into a powerful musical lineage as the son of Femi Kuti and grandson of Fela Kuti, he grew up in The New Afrika Shrine and began touring internationally as a child. A graduate of London’s Trinity Laban Conservatoire, Mádé plays multiple instruments including saxophone, trumpet, bass, and piano. In 2021, he released his debut album For(e)ward, packaged alongside his father’s Stop The Hate as Legacy +, earning them a Grammy nomination. Mádé’s latest singles I Won't Run Away, Life As We Know It & Wait And See leads into his upcoming album “Chapter 1: Where Does Happiness Come From?”, set for release in July 2025. His sound blends tradition, thought, and bold experimentation.
