Adam Faucett
A homegrown alt country artist.
Little Rock, Arkansas' Adam Faucett has been on the road since 2007, touring the U.S., Canada and Europe. His first solo album, The Great Basking Shark, was released that same year, with 2008's Show Me Magic, Show Me Out soon following. More Like A Temple arrived in 2011, receiving praise from Paste, No Depression and Altcountry.NL. Faucett released his first album with Last Chance Records--Blind Water Finds Blind Water--in 2014. It was named to American Songwriter's "Top 50 Albums of 2014," and 2018's It Took The Shape Of A Bird landed on Pop Matters' "Top 20 Americana Albums of 2018." Following in 2019, Faucett suffered a throat injury, requiring surgery. After all the rigamarole of finding the right doctor, having the actual surgery, and nine months of recovery, he was set to return touring. Then the world shut down for COVID-19. His sixth solo album, New Variations of The Reaper, sees its official release on September 19, 2025. A touch too beautiful to call plaintive, Variations winds the listener through surreal dreamscapes and reminds them that "Nobody Wanna See This Alone." And like his previous releases, it maintains a strong sense of place--Arkansas.
