Amanda Acevedo

Amanda Acevedo Manzo is a Mexican multidisciplinary artist originally from San Luis Potosí, Mexico. She made her professional musical debut alongside the award-winning Australian musician and producer Mick Harvey, widely recognised for his foundational, long-term collaborations with Nick Cave, PJ Harvey, and Rowland S. Howard. Since establishing their partnership in 2020, Acevedo and Harvey have released two critically acclaimed albums: Phantasmagoria in Blue (2023) and Golden Mirrors (2025). Both records were mixed by/ recorded with the renowned Alain Johannes (whose credits include Queens of the Stone Age, Chris Cornell, and PJ Harvey) and released via the influential independent record label Mute (home to Depeche Mode, Erasure, Moby, and Yann Tiersen). The duo is set to release their third album, a collection of original compositions titled Psychedelia in White (2026), and have already commenced recording for several upcoming projects. Acevedo also plays an integral role in the visual and structural production of her projects. Her credits across these albums include co-producer, creative director, graphic designer, and music video director/editor. Their work has earned international recognition, leading to global touring. Performing with various live ensembles across Europe, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, and both major metropolitan and regional areas of Australia. She remains an active and vital figure in the international independent and alternative music scenes,
