Demidead

The torment of the perpetual inner conflict, the struggle between cold and sterile logic and uncontrollable and overwhelming emotion that characterizes the lives of each of us andspills over daily into the society we live in. This war becomes even harsher for those suffering from a mental disorder, forced to confront an inner demon increasingly determined to dominate and devour their life. Depression, Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, and Anxiety Disorder are just a few of its many forms, still so misunderstood by most. Demidead explores this dimension with the resolve of those who do not want to surrender to the tyranny of an inner parasite. Reborn from its ashes in 2018 thanks to its founder, Danilo Mazzei, Demidead managed to release their first EP in December 2019 . After some members turnover, the arrival of Leonardo Giovanelli and Davide Pinto allowed Demidead to release their debut album on April 2024, offering a powerful mix of Melodic Death, Nu, Djent, and Groove, while maintaining the cutting and aggressive speed from their years in Thrash. Later on, due to health issues, Leonardo had to leave the band, letting Lorenzo Corioni join the project. After some warm-up lives, and a festival as the opening act for Dark Funeral, Demidead is now looking to compose some new music, pushing itself even further, in search of an even more aggressive, deep and meaningful sound, as the message carried.
