Dream Council

As music moved forward from the 80s, so much was left behind; both things well-worn and things underexplored. In the interim it seems that we’ve forgotten much of what we’d learned. We’ve forgotten that dancing in the dark can be far more life affirming than dancing in the sunlight… that there are things lurking on the peripheries of our waking lives which can be seen clearly only in our dreams... and whether or not our planet burns or turns to ice, nations shall nonetheless fall and civilizations will crumble, but a tasty synth groove remains eternal. Dream Council, returns us to those shadowy places where we once celebrated lust and fear in equal measure. With a procession of coldly beautiful dance tracks, each fulfilling the futuristic promises that synth pop made 40 years ago, they guide our way towards the inevitable unification of humanity and technology... and the many hedonistic delights which await us.
