An underground classical piano artist.
A British composer and concert pianist presenting classical music in new ways. Her 2021 release Psalmus transformed a twelfth century plainchant into a modern cinematic sound for cello and harp. Similarly her album release 'Arrangements for Cello and Piano' took Schubert's last solo sonata for piano and turned it into a new chamber music work for cello and piano. Beatrice is a dynamic concert pianist performing music from Bach to present day, whilst also championing music by 1930s African American women composers in her live 'Black and Classical' concerts. Her latest release 'Black and Classical' is a Black History Month release to celebrate classical music by black composers. Beatrice's live concerts have taken her around the UK, France, Germany, Poland, Thailand and the Czech Republic with standout performances at London's Wigmore Hall, Southbank Center, Kings Place, Snape Maltings and Edinburgh's Queen’s Hall.
