Milkman Jack

Milkman Jack is a four-piece alt-rock band from South London. The songs merge pop style melodies with raw and noisy instrumentals . Their energetic live set contains songs with lyrics discussing addiction, loneliness and heartbreak, encapsulating the chaos and uncertainty of adolescence. They describe their sound as being 'dystopian' as they want their music to reflect their distaste for the modern world and their bleak outlook of the future. Singer, Luca explains, 'Everyone's anxious now and rightly so. The music that comes out now should reflect that.' Anglerfish is Milkman Jack's new single and is the first song they all worked on together with new member, Nere. This song in their words was, 'the song we wrote that shaped the direction we wanted to go down and the sound we wanted to have as a band.' Fun fact - The drums for the song is morse code for their anti establishment, encrypted message for the aliens of the cosmos. Milkman Jack (Luca - singer/rhythm guitarist, Michiel - drummer, Seb - lead guitarist and Nere - Bassist) are currently releasing singles and building a following in London before they release their debut EP.
