The British trio Scorched Earth was formed by veterans of what their own PR describes as "London's heavy stoner rock scene." Guitarist Randy Kyser and bassist Chuck Kowalski revived some songs they'd written in 1969, got Jay Pharoah-Curd on drums, and recorded the Fed to Your Head album for release in the early 2000s. In keeping with many projects on the Rubric/Woronzow axis, the music is heavy, at times meandering, blues-psychedelic rock with massive debts to blues-psychedelic jamming of the late '60s and early '70s. ~ Richie Unterberger, Rovi
