Above The Hood Members: Hawk Sapranov Pepe Frantik Smuggler Long3 Spine Baghdad Oxizer Above The Hood is a Greek hip-hop collective known for their raw energy and distinctive sound. The group first broke into the mainstream in 2016 with the viral record “Edo Einai Ellada” by Hawk, Sapranov & Pepe Frantik, a release that reshaped the modern Greek rap scene. Their early years were marked by stand-alone singles, followed by their album “Pandora” (2017) by Hawk and Smuggler. In 2018, the collective released “Orama”, their first full-group album, featuring all members across 12 tracks. The project quickly became a fan favorite, surpassing 45+ million streams across platforms and establishing Above The Hood as one of the most influential hip-hop collectives in Greece. In the years that followed, the members focused on duo projects such as Long3 x Smuggler “TOTEM” and Pepe Frantik x Spine “O Kosmos Dikos Sou”, while also contributing to major hits including “Deja Vu”, “XILIOMETRA”, “Rock It”, “Drugs N Roses” and more. After 5 years away as a collective, Above The Hood made their long-awaited return on 2025 with the EP “PEGASUS”, a project that brings back the chemistry, identity and explosive energy that defined their early years. With their 10 Years anniversary live shows coming on 19/12/2025 and 7/3/2026 in Athens & Thessaloniki, Above The Hood are entering a new chapter, reconnecting with their legacy and writing the next page of their story.
