๐๐๐๐ฃ ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐๐๐ค๐ฅ๐ก๐ ๐๐๐ฎ, the latest album from Agbeko, is due for release on โ23 October 2026 on vinyl LP and digital. Lead single ๐๐ฏ๐ฐ๐ธ ๐๐ฐ๐ธ out 21 July. Mancunian powerhouse Agbeko have been erupting dancefloors across Europe since first taking the stage in 2016. Inspired by the lineage of Afrobeat from Fela Kuti through to Antibalas via modern-day psychedelia of The Heliocentrics and The Shaolin Afronauts, Agbeko write their own chapter uniquely combining Ethio-jazz, British Protest Song and a penchant for the raucous. Penned by Jamie Stockbridge and borne by a virtuosic, double-digit collective featuring front-women Amber Kuti & Mali Hayes, their music soundtracks a congregation revelling upon a world on the brink. Agbeko's songs call out corruption and embolden the collective pull towards societal change and healing in our times. Channelled through an onslaught of horns, driven grooves, moving lyrics and cathartic soloing, their music speaks out against irresponsible leadership and humanitarian crises, while promoting fairness and acceptance . Fans of Fela Kuti & The Africa 70, Ebo Taylor, Hailu Mergia, Antibalas, Mulatu Astatke, The Budos Band, Ibibio Sound Machine, Bixiga 70 and The Souljazz Orchestra - take note!
Agbeko plays a blend of Afrobeat, Ethio-jazz, and British Protest Song, known for their powerful horn sections and socially conscious lyrics.
